About these terms

This website is operated by Mayed AB, which uses MAYED STUDIO as the name of its online store. In these Terms, “Mayed”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mayed AB.

MAYED STUDIO is powered by Shopify. These Terms apply to your use of our website and online store. Your purchase is made directly from Mayed AB.

These Terms do not limit any consumer rights that cannot legally be limited or waived.

1. Using our website

You must provide accurate and complete information when you place an order or create an account. You are responsible for keeping your account sign-in details secure and for activity carried out through your account.

You may use our website only in a lawful way. You must not interfere with the website, try to gain unauthorized access to it, or use it in a way that could damage or disrupt it.

2. Products

We do our best to show and describe our products accurately. Colours may look different on different screens.

Product information and availability may change. Any changes apply to future orders and do not change the terms of an order we have already accepted. Nothing in this section limits your rights if a product does not match its description or is faulty.

3. Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the products in your order. We accept your order when we send you an order confirmation email. If we cannot accept an order—for example, because an item is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing error, or we suspect fraudulent activity—we will contact you and refund any payment we have received for the unaccepted order.

Please check your order details before submitting it. If you want to cancel an order before it has been dispatched, contact us as soon as possible. We’ll try to help, but cancellation may not be possible once an order has been accepted or prepared for dispatch. This does not affect your statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase.

For information about returns and refunds, see our Refund and Returns Policy. You can submit an online withdrawal or return request through your customer account, once that function is enabled. Your statutory rights are not limited by our returns policy.

Our products are intended for personal or household use, not commercial resale.

4. Prices and payment

The price and currency shown for your selected market apply when you place your order. Prices include taxes where required. Any delivery charges and other amounts payable at checkout are shown before you submit your order.

Depending on the destination, import duties or taxes may be collected at checkout or may be payable to local authorities or the carrier before delivery. See our Shipping Policy for more information.

We may change prices and promotions for future orders. A change will not alter the price of an order we have already accepted. Payments are processed using the payment method selected at checkout.

5. Shipping and delivery

We deliver to the destinations available at checkout. Delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout and described in our Shipping Policy.

Delivery dates are estimates. If a delivery is delayed, we will work with you to resolve the issue. For consumer orders, responsibility for loss or damage generally remains with us until you, or someone you have chosen to receive the parcel, takes physical possession of it. This does not apply where you independently choose a carrier that we did not offer.

6. Your legal rights

Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts your rights under applicable consumer law, including rights relating to faulty or misdescribed products, delivery, or withdrawal from an online purchase.

7. Intellectual property

The text, photographs, graphics, logos, designs and other content on this website belong to Mayed AB or are used with permission. You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must not copy or use our content commercially without our written permission.

8. Third-party services and links

Our website may include links or features provided by third parties. Those services are operated under the third parties’ own terms and privacy practices. This section does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

9. Relationship with Shopify

MAYED STUDIO is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with MAYED STUDIO. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and MAYED STUDIO, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with MAYED STUDIO.

10. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Shopify and other service providers may also process information as needed to operate the store, process payments and fulfill orders. Please see the relevant privacy notices for details.

11. Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, you give us permission to use it to operate and improve our business and services. This does not transfer ownership of your work to us. Please do not send information you want to keep confidential unless we have agreed to keep it confidential.

12. Website availability and liability

We work to keep the website available and accurate, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may temporarily suspend access for maintenance, security or technical reasons.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect when you place an order applies to that order, subject to any mandatory legal rights.

14. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Swedish law, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Any dispute may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law.
